Spots, dots and chickenpox!

Well it is official...J has the chicken pox! He started with a bump two days ago that I thought was just a simple ingrown hair because it was right in his hairline. Last night when Aunt, uncle and E were here he was complaining of being itchy, so dad had him take off his shirt and sure enough he is covered in spots! It has taken a look at 9 1/2 years for one of them to get it but we will see now how quickly it go through all 4 of them!

You can't see them very well in this picture, but he now has more on his face and his back is covered!  I told him I was going to get a marker and play dot to dot! ;)  He wasn't as amused!

On a different note, aunt goes in to have baby A this morning! We can't wait to see her!  She is a beautiful little mite!  Makes me want a little baby all over again, and yes I would do it in a heartbeat!

 

I have been busy making my very first batch of strawberry preserves!  They turned out yummy!!  I can't wait to get more strawberries, and other fruit and make more!  On a similar note, my garden is starting to sprout!  We have beans, beets, cucumbers and squash all popping through!  It makes me so excited!  I swear I will be a whole lot better at my garden this year!
